The installation cost of a private charging station depends on the location, special requirements, and some other things.
Installation service gives the customer confidence that the charger will be installed and maintained in accordance with Estonian regulations, the documentation will be prepared accordingly, and the customer will be protected from possible undesired cases.
Before starting to install the home charging station please make sure you know the followings:
What is the maximum power output the vehicle can consume? (Tip: look at the technical parameters of the vehicle).
How much power your home switchboard is capable to provide? (Tip: look at the nominal parameter of the main switch).
The answers to these two questions will directly affect which charging station will suit your needs. To install an EV charging station at your home, you can use either 1-phase or 3-phase power. 3-phase charging can transfer more power than the 1-phase (22 kW versus 7.4 kW max power output) but may be more difficult and costly to install and exploit.
The standard installation conditions mean that there is no need for additional work and the customer doesn't have any special wishes.
A standard installation includes:
10 m cable, installation on the surface.
Access to the main switchboard.
The charger will be ready to use immediately after the installation.
